Life. Jesus Christ’s
Atonement saves us from the
wasteland of physical and spiritual
death. Repent, and find new
life in Him. Clean
Up Your Act. Soap and water
won’t do the trick. True
cleanliness and purity come
from sincere repentance. The
First Sign of Repentance.
Now is the time to get on the
road to a clean start. (See
Alma 34:32–34.) Face
Up to It. Sin brings bitter
sorrow. Repentance is a sweet
return to light and joy. “Look
to God and live.” (See
Alma 37:47.) Repentance
Is Strong Soap. But it feels
so good to be clean. (See Isa.
1:18.) Unload.
Carrying a heavy burden? Christ
invites you to drop it at his
feet. Your bishop can help you
do that. (See Matt. 11:28.) No
matter what your past has been,
you have a Spotless Future. Play
It with Feeling. Living
with unresolved sin is like
playing the piano with boxing
gloves—because sin blunts
our ability to feel. Let’s
free up our lives and then play
our part with style. There
Is a Way Out. When we sin
we paint ourselves into a corner.
Repentance is the only way out.
