Family-
Missionary Training Center. Now is the time to prepare. Home is the place to start. (See D&C 38:40.)
Be
a Strong Link. President
Gordon B. Hinckley counsels,
“Do not become a weak
link in the chain of your generations.”
Your faithfulness to the gospel
will strengthen your family.
Home
Security. This Home Secured
by Love. Warmth, kindness, and
charity can be your family’s
spiritual security system.
Get
into Family History. Your
ancestors are part of the eternal
picture. Develop an interest
in them. (See D&C 128:15).
Invest
in Bonds. Invest yourself
in your family. The payoffs
start now and continue through
eternity. (See Hymns, no. 300.)
Merit
Badge. Home is a great place
to “help other people
at all times.” And the
rewards are terrific. (See Hymns,
no 223.)
Hang
Out with Your Family. Decorate
your family tree with your presence.
You’re not just ornamental.
You’re essential. (See
Hymns, no. 298.)
Family
Ties. Time flies. Spend
some of it on eternal relationships.
(See Hymns, no. 298.)
Do
Your Homework. Spend time
with your family. It’s
not such a tough assignment.
In fact, you may discover it
isn’t work at all. (See
Hymns, no. 298.)
Safe
at Home. When things start
to slide, head for the one place
you’re never shut out.
Your family can be your most
faithful fans. (See 3 Ne. 18:21.)
The
Best Things in Life Are
Not Things.
